Background Edge Bleeding

Will the edge bleeding of background colors on top and left side of computers ever be fixed? Are there side effects to fixing this that I'm not considering?

Reason I'm asking is because I'm doing box drawing characters, and to get the full set of characters, you have to invert the colors. If you draw these say on X coord 1 and it's inverted, the edge bleeding will be ugly and very noticible.

There's been some discussion on GitHub about this (https://github.com/dan200/ComputerCraft/issues/51), but I don't think we found a solution that everyone (and Dan200) were happy with.
