Title: Na1katsu
Post by: Tsuyut on Sep 23, 2025, 07:40 AM
Here I present you, Na1katsu.

An intelligent multi-OS bootloader which works by checking if any lua files are present in AskronROM directory (place your OS files and startup files THERE) and proposes you either to boot there or on craftOS shell.

Here's the pastebin link (modified because there was a critical error I had to quickly fix):
pastebin get JTPAv06Q startup.lua
How to use for Minux (applies to any if not all OSes):
1. Install minux if not alr installed
2. Install na1katsu:
pastebin get JTPAv06Q startup.lua3. copy /boot/init.sys:
copy /boot/init.sys AskronROM/minux.luaIt is important to copy as a file with extension .lua or it won't be recognized.
4. enjoy

In fact with a bit of setup, I've successfully managed to run CraftOS, Minux, SpaceOS AND MidnightOS side by side using this bootloader.

For MidnightOS it required a bit of setup but else it works perfectly well.
